ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Who says that everything has to be perfectly balanced--certainly not the creative, free-spirited Victorians. This striking and unusual openwork pendant, fashioned in a foliate motif aglitter with European and rose-cut diamonds, has a decidedly different orientation. Centered with a glimmering deep rose-pink rhodolite garnet framed by bright European-cut diamonds, it is designed with an asymmetrical twist--reminiscent in shape of a painter's palette--and is embellished by a pair of dangling diamond-dotted drops. Delightfully askew. Total diamond weight - 1.60 carats, total garnet weight - 2.65 carats. Hand fabricated in silver over 9ct. gold (hence, of British origin). Chain measures 19 inches.
