ABOUT THIS BRACELET
Japan notably exhibited at the 1862 International Expo in London, and this highly unusual and extra-lovely bangle bracelet may be a souvenir/memento inspired by that special event. The top half of the 5/8 inch wide bangle, crafted in machine textured 14K rosy-yellow gold, displays an artsy Japanese tableau complete with pagoda, cherry blossom, and crane, all rendered in taille d’épargne black enamel. The bottom half displays a fanciful foliate and berry design. A fabulous, collectible Victorian era adornment - circa 1865. In excellent condition.
