ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Measuring 2 1/4 inches high, the distinctive architectural design of this cool Victorian pendant locket (circa 1875) evinces just a hint of Egyptian Revival influence. The rich 14K yellow gold geometric escutcheon surrounds a raised centerpiece, rendered in contrasting warmly burnished coppery gold, dotted with a trio of tiny seed pearls. An original 15ct 17-inch chain (hence of British origin) supports this striking antique keepsake, outfitted on the reverse with a flip-up glass-covered display locket compartment. Hand fabricated.
