ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Artfully designed and hand fabricated in 18k yellow gold over silver, any fashionable mermaid would be delighted to don this delectable ocean jewel, extracted from the crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean, circa 1875. An ultra-lustrous white natural saltwater (aka oriental) button pearl is comfortably ensconced within a scallop shell set with small vibrant red Burmese rubies and glittering rose-cut diamonds. A little gem! Total diamond weight - .42 carat, total ruby weight - .80 carat. 3/4-inch diameter. The new chain measures 18 inches.
