Victorian No-Heat 2.30 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring
ABOUT THIS RING
Every now and then in life we get to re-imagine ourselves. The same is true with jewelry. The center of this royal-esque ring, a deep glimmering cobalt blue sapphire, weighing 2.30 carats and encircled by brightly sparkling old mine cut diamonds, was once the focal piece of a Victorian-era brooch. Now, it crowns--in beautiful contrast--a new rose gold ring shank with shoulders of millegrain-edged flared 'ribbons.' A captivating conversion. Total diamond weight, 1.40 carats. Sapphire accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories stating: Natural. No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Cambodia* - origin. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold, currently ring size 6 1/2. *In the world of sapphires, those closest in color to Kashmir (the rarest and most coveted) and Burmese (close runner up) originate from Pailin, Cambodia.
