This resplendent rarity, hand fabricated in silver over gold toward the latter-19th century, features a pair of velvety royal blue gemstones: a central faceted oval sapphire, weighing 3.20 carats, and a pear shape drop sapphire weighing 6.40 carats (9.60 carats total), both of which are accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Ceylon origin for the pear shape, Thailand for the oval shape.. Measuring an impressive 2 5/8 by 1 3/4 inches, this majestic Victorian era jewel features a curvaceous open design composed of sparkling diamond-set ribbons and a swinging garland. A rare and regal lavalière necklace befitting (major) nobility and/or (minor) royalty! 5.10 carats total diamond weight. 18-inch chain.
