A palette of kaleidoscopic colors suffuses this gleaming Australian opal, while an array of lively diamonds--old mine, Swiss, and single cuts--create a glittering halo of bright white light. Total diamond weight, .45 carat. The enchanting composition is hand fabricated in silver over 18K gold, circa turn-of-the-20th-century, and suspends from a newer 18-inch 18K yellow gold chain.
