Reminiscent of a miniature Faberge Easter egg, this look alike cousin of either British or American origin, from around the same time period - the second half of the 19th century - glows with a dusky wine red, pear shape cabochon garnet pierced in the center with a glittering rose-cut diamond-set star, all of which are orbited all around by 8 more tiny twinkling rose-cut diamonds. A sweet & lovely Victorian treasure hand fabricated in 18K yellow gold. The drop measure 7/8 inch, The new chain measures 18 inches.
