Victorian Pearl, No-Heat Sapphire and Diamond Dinner Ring
ABOUT THIS RING
Gently curved and ever-elegant, the navette (or marquise) shape is particularly pleasing when used for rings. The one atop this chic Victorian/Edwardian-era ring (circa turn-of-the-20th-century) is elegantly elongated and shimmers with a luminous natural pearl kissed by two gleaming royal blue pear-shaped cabochon sapphires (total weight, 4.25 carats). The striking trio is set against a glittering backdrop of European and antique single cut diamonds, all supported by subtly flared shoulders, each set with a single twinkling stone. A lovely length of color, luster, and sparkle to grace your finger. Total diamond weight, .33 carat. In silver over 18K gold, currently ring size 8 3/4. Gemological report for sapphires from Stone Group Laboratories states: Natural. No indications of thermal enhancement. Origin undetermined. One has visible color zoning.
