Victorian Peridot, Diamond And Enamel Lavalière
ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Magnifique! An elegantly elongated emerald cut peridot, weighing 10.50 carats, is presented horizontally in this absolutely exquisite Victorian-era jewel, quite likely of French origin. The gorgeous apple-green gemstone is framed in swirls colored in white and black-dotted enamel punctuated by four bezel-set European cut diamonds, which, in turn, are framed by glittering rose-cut diamonds accented north and south by a bezel-set antique cushion cut diamond. For a bit of added motion, a matching antique cushion cut diamond dangles below. Total diamond weight, 2.33 carats. Expertly and artfully hand fabricated in silver over 14K gold, circa 1890. Chain measures 18 inches. *From the estate of a renowned A-list Hollywood actor (only to be revealed upon purchase ;). Condition note: stones show some wear commensurate with the age of the piece.
