From Birmingham, England, circa 1885 (according to the hallmarks), the center of this sterling silver locket (measuring 2 1/8 inches long, including the bail) is decorated with a charming floral/foliate design applied in rose and green gold overlays, while the perimeter is embellished with hand-engraved discs and tiny silver spheres. An intricately ornamented beauty. Original silver chain measures 18 inches.
