ABOUT THIS BRACELET

From the short-lived Victorian Revival period of the mid-20th-century (c.1950s) comes this striking regal work of wearable art. Hand fabricated in platinum over 14K yellow gold, the top half of this bold and beautiful bangle bracelet features a trio of high-domed cabochon, natural no-heat star sapphires - together weighing 13.55 carats: purplish-pink in the center (of rare Burmese origin), flanked by a pair of gray-blue gemstones of old Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin. The enchanting gemstones are enwrapped in glittering platinum ribbons set with rose-cut diamonds (and a half-dozen full-cuts), all of which are are set against a dramatic, glossy cobalt blue enamel background. A singular and stunning head turner. Total diamond weight, 1.75 carats.
