ABOUT THESE EARRINGS

Earrings for oenophiles! Dating back to the second half of the 19th century, there's a lot going on in these artfully designed, and fairly sizable multidimensional Victorian eardrops. Intricately detailed oval backdrops are overlaid with highly textured hand-engraved grape leaves with sinuous stems that culminate in colorful turquoise and seed pearl studded blossoms. They measure 1 1/2 inches and drop a bit further from the ear wires. Condition note: stones show wear commensurate with the age of the earrings. In 14K gold over silver.
