ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
In 1839, Charles Goodyear was credited with discovering Vulcanite, a material made from hardened rubber that, during the late-Georgian/early-Victorian period, was occasionally used in jewelry such as in these espresso colored, über-cool, collectable drop earrings measuring just over 1 7/8 inch long (they drop a bit further from the ear wires).
