  • Interesting Aside: In 1899 at the corner of Maiden Lane and Broadway,  William Barthman embedded a clock directly into the sidewalk itself.
  • c. 1966 The clock was refitted and its face was changed.
  • 1983:  New owner, Jerry Natkin, with assistance from Cartier, restored and refurbished the clock.
